How it all Began...

Margaret began acting in musicals at the age of eight in Bethesda, Maryland under the mentorship of beloved acting instructor Judy White.  Her love of classical music came from listening to the concert  recordings of her grandmother (Lola McFadin) playing with Van Cliburn.   A cousin of famed producer Joshua Logan, Margaret knew from an early age that she wanted to pursue a career in musical theater and dreamed of being on Broadway.  Her parents both amateur musicians playing guitar and piano exposed Margaret to the music which inherently became so important to her .  At thirteen, her mother agreed to sign her on for voice lessons.  The weekly lessons continued until Margaret went on to college studying with teachers from Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Now many years later,  although her focus has shifted towards film and television  work (some clips can be seen on Film & Television Clips page), Margaret continues to study voice and is currently performing her show, My Life as a Bald Soprano in various venues around New York City.
